Nic Cage is my spirit animal. Life is just so fucking stupid and weird sometimes: when life comes at you with child-killing satan-worshipping animatronics, the correct answer is not to wonder how you got here, or why this exists, or what is happening, but instead don't hesitate curb-stomping their stupid-looking fucking faces on the nearest urinal.

It's just really pleasant watching Nicolas Cage be a badass. This doesn't reinvent the wheel but it's still a lot of fun. It's kind of neat because while most characters would struggle, Cage is just like "Yeah whatever I'm gonna kill these things unless it's break time." Not scary but it did have some funny parts. This is the type of movie Cage should be doing and it shows. Plus, the birthday song is so catchy. The Willys Wonderland theme song is also great.

It's Nic Cage playing a mute drifter kicking the piss out of a gang of Satanic Chuck E. Cheese wannabes. What's not to adore? Does not take itself seriously for one second and revels in cheap gore and 80's nostalgia. Yes, please. Incidentally, my PSI for this movie was only 45....the worst prediction it's given me in literal years. The algorithm is usually fantastic so I can only conclude that it's the fault of everyone else who rated this gem poorly. For shame, Criticker users, for shame.

While it's clearly a FNAF rip off made by someone who didn't want to spend the money for the rights to adapt, but Nick Cage in the lead here is a winning ticket. He's at peak Cage when he's silently beating the shit out of animatronics, I was floored, it was fun as hell.

It's not a good movie but the fact it doesn't pretend to be and doesn't fuck around with setting up some stupid plot exposition, instead opting to dive into its trashy subject matter, I dunno. There's a kind of charm to it despite being a blatant ripoff. Maybe it's because the soundtrack puts Zimmer's effort on Dune to shame, but this is a splatterhorror fun ride that never really wears out it's welcome. A simplistic delight reminscent of the golden era of cheap plastic thrills.

This movie does pretty much everything poorly. All of the plot beats are incredibly moronic and the characterization is non-sensical. The cinematography is full of awkward camera usage and really annoying lighting, especially in the flicker scene. But despite this, it's pretty watchable just for the fact Cage's character is so cartoony and the scenarios they put him are so goofball that the movie comes across as a parody at times. The explosion at the end was goddamn hilarious!

A Five Nights at Freddy's-esque scenario sounds awesome on paper, but sadly this film even with Nicolas Cage in the lead doesn't deliver. The costume robots are cool and there's some fun room designs and goofy humour. A shame the other characters are crap. On the technical/acting side, it's a bit of a letdown. Most shots are conventional and bland. Fights and deaths are sloppy. The young actors are weak, but I wasn't expecting anything amazing. In the end, just a mediocre, watchable Horror film.

i was hoping nic would be on freakout mode for this, but instead this is one of his boring performances where he shows no interest in being there. even worse, the fights/kills are boring and uncreative, so they fucked up the two things that a dumb b movie premise like this needed to get right.

There's nothing horror about this movie. It's pure dark comedy and in it's blaring stupidity, I was never really bored. Cracked up a few times, was entertained. Nic Cage does Five Nights at Freddy's. It's idiotic, the plot is poor, but it did make me laugh. That was kind of the point?

Thank you Amazon for once again ruining my childhood. I could forgive you after you sent 10W30 motor oil when I ordered two gallons of industrial strength lube. And again when I you sent small after I ordered extra strength enemas. But this? YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR.

Hard to believe a movie like this exists, but it was pretty fun. Nicolas Cage stars in this horror about a Chuck-E-Cheese like place with killer animatronic characters.

Cage Nights at Freddys is exactly as dumb and fantastic as it needs to be to elevate itself from trash to treasure.

Imagine if Rob Zombie were in a really bad trip during quarantine and tried to make the laziest possible Nic Cage's Funhouse vehicle of all time. At least Cage's silent drifter actually make this watchable.

Beth Grant is pretty great, but I did not find the animatronics funny.

When Nicolas Cage is flinging around giant animatronic animals & punching holes through them like nothing, this is pretty fun. The soundtrack is also quite good, & the cinematography looks really cool for the most part. But, beyond that, this is...so bad. The script is one of the most awful I've seen in a long time. Nothing makes sense & no character is interesting- or intelligent. You want to see the dumbest of the dumb horror movie teens, then watch this. A total mess, but mildly enjoyable.

Characters that make stupid decisions: check. A outrageous script: check. Over the top horror scenes: check. This all adds up to an entertaining future cult film.

Based on the premise, I was expecting utter low budget trash with a nominal Cage cameo and not much more. But, to my surprise, Cage is actually giving a thoroughly enjoyable and wacky tour-de-force performance which infuses the whole film with its madcap energy. A film which is, to be clear, not NOT low budget trash, but knows exactly how to play to its strengths. Don't skip this one, fellow Cage aficionados.

I would give this a higher score, given this film isn't meant to be reviewed seriously. But the awkward camera angles and bizarre lighting was headache inducing and I couldn't even finish the film. From what I did finish, it's a goofy film you probably will watch drunk with friends on a Halloween night, and then never again.

When you find yourself unable to write dialogue for Nic Cage, reconsider your dreams of a career in screenwriting. "Oh but it's a conscious stylistic choice - " Suuure, buddy.

This is, unfortunately, a bit of a let down given the premise and presence of Cage. It is still quite entertaining but completely bizarre. Things are both overly explained and then also many aspects are left puzzling. The bottom line: Cage smashes robot skulls and plays pinball.

Not sure what that was supposed to be. It's somehow funny, because of weird filmmaking decisions and you should definetely see it, if you are into Nicolas Cage cleaning up stuff.

Boring, ugly, and lazy in every way. Attempts to be a fun, humorous horror movie in the style of "Evil Dead" or "Slither" but falls flat at every turn. Feels like a script that got pulled out of the trash can it should have stayed in to capitalize on FNAF but won't even manage to appeal to fans of that series.

Very dumb but somewhat funny. I love the fact we never know what's the deal with Cage's character, and even if he doesn't speak at all, he can still radiate insanity through the screen

Not really my thing with so much comedy but it was a pretty fun watch nonetheless.

The action was just shot so poorly that it reduced any entertainment value I got from this movie to 0.

The premise of this is ridiculous, so if you go into it expecting Nic Cage ridiculousness, you should be fine. I definitely would not have enjoyed this as much If I wasn't watching It with my little brother. It now holds sentimental value. I good watch if you're with the right group of people. I give 6 grape sodas out of 10.

Not gonna lie, I exhaled through my nose a couple times. However, it felt like they didn't lean hard enough into the meme. Or they tried too hard to lean into the meme and completely overshot it. Either way, you know you fucked up when Nic Cage becomes self aware.

Needed more "Nic Cage dancing in front of a pinball machine" energy.

Incredible soundtrack, very funny film. Six out of five stars.

Bad but in a good way

Nic Cage playing a character who doesn't talk is a great premise. But not for a movie where he doesn't really do anything, everything around him is poorly lit, any action scene is over in 3 poorly framed seconds, and the acting around him is awful. Really bad, shame cause the premise sounds silly but this movie can't decide if it should play it straight or funny and picks no lane.

Quite bad movie in every possible way with stupid characters and plot holes (like soda drinking and pinball). No entertaining nor funny kills and you keep waiting the nicolascage-ish stuff to come, but it never happens.

I didn't know Nic Cage would not talk for the entire duration of the film. Still entertaining, but had he been able to go full crazy this would have been infinitely more enjoyable.

Nicolas Cage violently takes out a bunch of knockoff "five nights at Freddy's" animatronics without saying a single line, drinking Punch energy drink and cleaning a kid play room. Then he drives away in a gorgeous car with a hot young woman.

Nicolas Cage is so bad he's great. The OST is so much worse that it's even better. Everything and everyone else is just bad, so the whole thing, in the end, is completely empty.

Time with Nick Cage is always time well spent.

A cheap fnaf copy. Regarding Cage, I still don't get how someone can be an actor for a living and be so inept at acting at the same time (he literally doesn't have one single spoken line in the entire film so that's nice, at least).
