Nothing truly original here, but the radiance of the visuals more than saves it (along with a few hidden jabs at the prevailing modern religion of the West).

It's a romantic comedy that is cliched and predictable yet I liked it because it had sports and I'm a MAN!

One of my comfort movies. I make no excuses for its deficiencies, I just don't really care about them.

A solid romantic comedy, with two very enjoyable leads and a surprisingly stacked supporting cast.

Better than most rom-coms and sports movies all at once. It is fluffy, but tries for nothing more, and this calm and clean approach results in a lovely, light, and unsurprising film.

Far less entertaining than the real thing, this idea should have been eliminated in the early rounds. Shame, because Paul Bettany deserves better material.

Mistakes - 1) Half of the crowds on centre court are made up of faceless dummies with clothes on. 2) Peter states that his first match is at 3 PM, but when he goes out onto the court to begin the match we hear him thinking that it is 2 PM. 3) When Peter is going up to Lizzie's room with the fish and chips, he has cut himself shaving. The piece of paper he has stuck to his face starts off on the corner of his lip and then jumps down and left.

Old-fashioned romantic movie. Bettany is endearing and his chemistry with Dunst bolsters a pleasant but predictable script.

Suprisingly not bad... not big on the lovey-dovey romance movies, but this one held my interest through the whole thing. I also hate tennis, so that's an achievement.

Likeable and harmless romantic comedy with some sports action that would be rated a little higher than this if not for Kirsten Dunst's painfully awful performance.

Wimbledon will have some appeal to those who like the two stars of the film, as well as for people with a special liking for mushy romances or feel-good machinations in the sports department.

Tennis is a much better game than this film lets on. Doesn't approach the subtle differences between men's and women's tennis that make each worthy in their own ways.
