Harking back to the suspense thrillers of thrity years ago, Wind Chill makes a surprisingly imaginative and inolving viewing. Scares are often surprising and have a very mysterious nature, neatly backed up by nice believable performances from Holmes and Blunt. A great find among horror of the modern trend, lacking the brutality tactics of films like Saw and Hostel. A move in the right direction then, and a very good film in its own right.

Threatens to be completely awful (Jeepers Creepers in the snow awful) but then changes into an enjoyable The Fog style ghost story. Blunt was really good.

A surprisingly good mood building horror movie with a pretty good cast to boot. Martin Donovan really knows hot to turn it on when it comes to creepiness.

The best part of this movie is the interaction between Emily Blunt and Ashton Holmes who do a nice job with their characters. Especially Emily, I liked her. The movie around them, though, can't quite figure out where it wants to go.

According to Wikipedia, Friedrich Nietzsche's concept of eternal return suggests that the universe has been recurring, and will continue to recur, in a self-similar form an infinite number of times across infinite time or space. The two main characters, who are college students, briefly discuss this concept. This seemed fitting to me because the movie felt like one I had watched hundred of times before.

This film commits the crime of being simply boring. The characters are just so uninteresting and the writing is devoid of any substance (not like I was actually expecting substance in a film like this but c'mon now).

Story starts with beautiful acting work of Emily Blunt and Ashton Holmes. Especially Emily as bitchy student is great. There is some disturbing time loops during story, but do not affraid: they are part of the plot. The scenes inside of the car are also with good tense. But the biggest problem is the others. Police is okay, but the rest of the grew sucks. As does the story towards the end.

I'm sorry, but I just have to let loose on this one, they're haunted by ghosts who only show up every half hour or so, with nothing but stupid in between. One person is killed and he freakin' dies of hypothermia. I am not, nor will I ever be afraid of hypothermia, this would have been better off as a cookie cutter slasher flick, at least then there would be blood and a body count.

A good atmosphere set to the isolation of a middle of nowhere road in the middle of winter. A nice pace of progression as well and a bit of desperation, i enjoyed it quite a bit. only downfall id say is in the beginning of the film, both characters come off as kinda bitchy and annoying.

What's great about this movie is it excels via it's simplicity. Dialog is solid, the pacing is pretty good. It's a confusing ride for cast and viewers but an interesting one. Without spoiling too much I'd really want a different ending though, something a bit more uplifting, something the genre badly needs.

Average. 2 college students are stranded overnight on the highway to hell, chased by dead people. Its not a bad movie, the atmosphere is great, its just that its such a lousy premise. Now if only those dead people were zombies..... yeah... OK for a late night TV screening.

Not bad, but forgettable attempt at suspense and horror. This movie is just mainly average, watch at your own risk.
