This was a middle aged comedienne avengers. It was disappointing.

Awesome cast, of course, and there are definitely some decent laughs in there, but for the most part it’s a forgettable flick where most of the jokes are mild titter-worthy at best. Still, nice to see a movie about female friendship and aging get a bunch of hype, I guess?

Like after drinking too much wine, you will not remember a thing about this film the next day. *insert Gene Shalit's face here*

Setting up a camera in front of these women without a script likely would have garnered a funnier outing, but you can't hate this. The few obvious improv moments were great.

The script wasn't bad, though not particularly original. But man, the direction and editing really sold it short. There were so many jokes that were funny as written, but just fell completely flat due to timing. These are all funny actresses and the material was good enough, but it sadly just couldn't come together.

Big fan of the cast but yeah this didn't really do much for me. The conversation about Prince was great. I'd like to see a big movie about female friendship that's not about rich, white women please.

Yet another movie where people struggle to get older, when (hold on, scientific fact!) one doesn't particularly need to do much for that to happen. While advancing the age in numbers the growth in character did not happen hence even though some of the scenes started promisingly they did not lead anywhere else but to middle-aged ladies rolling down hills and having mostly clichéd conversations about nothing. No wonder they mostly hated each other. Next time maybe do a gunfight scene at the end?

I love the Amy Poeler got to make a movie with her friends and let women make bad movies but gee wow this one was garbage.

Comedies are really tough to pull off. With the talent (SNL alumni) in this movie, I expected more laughs, but I did get quite a few.

Wine Country was funny at times. I understand the movie they were trying to make and maybe that movie just wasn't made for me. I wanted to like the movie more and I found myself almost making myself laugh out loud at times to justify this but, in the end, it was a forgettable movie. The acting was fantastic. I loved Tina Fey in this movie but I can't understand why she wasn't utilized more. I liked some of the more calm dramatic moments but then the comedy seemed to be tamed a bit too.

The cast all work well together in this film. The script is not groundbreaking but it has several fun moments. Overall I would recommend this movie.

Love the cast and there are some nice moments, but on a whole it just feels... I dunno, aimless. Maybe you have to have sold your soul to Sideways to get the whole wine country thing.

It was forgettable. Maybe okay at best. I like the concept of a reunion (which is usually a male friends cast) but nothing really happens here. I like the cast but all of the characters are fairly successful. The profound moments were so-so. A bunch of "lol millennials" scenes. Fav scene: rolling down that steep, steep hillside.

The cast is great and it's not that the movie is bad or anything, but it just feels like it was made for such a specific audience. Oh, the soundtrack is surprisingly good for the most part.

I will watch just about anything with Amy Poehler in it. The cast alone made this a movie worth watching. You really have to like this kind of humor to enjoy the movie. If you like Sisters or Baby Mama you'll more than likely like this. I would definitely recommend this.

Could be pitched as "Sideways meets Hangover for 50+ women". It has some amusing scenes and I applaud that films like this are made for older demographics (as that's where I'm soon heading), but this felt quite forced. There were some surprisingly deep observations about generational gaps between Gen X and millennials, but they felt out of place in the middle of the raunchier scenes.

The cask, I mean, cast, has chreat gemistry (shout-out to the great supporting characters too) and just like how the wine prevailed (see the final scene) when Abby's schedule failed, it's whenever they're allowed to just talk and play off each other that it all works really well-the drama is natural, the comedy on point-and it's when it tries to shoehorn in a message (see the cringe-y art show bit) or create more of a structured plot (the beats are all pretty generic) that it falls apart.

Offers me absolutely nothing. No redeeming features at all. Do not watch. Perhaps I am not the target audience, but even so there is no excuse for such bad film making.
