Without a Clue

Pretty wonderful. There's something somewhat carthartic about watching this version of the usually so superior and annoyingly arrogant Holmes make a complete fool of himself, and the premise (that he is merely an actor to whom a brilliant Watson feeds all his deductions) is amazing. With a better plot this would've deserved to be a classic, but the fantastic performances from and the very funny interplay between the bumbling Caine and a never-cooler Kingsley do make it a weirdly overlooked gem.

Silly and perfectly harmless crime comedy. Has the feel of one of those films where the cast seem to have obviously had a good time making it.

A competent, even if not specatacular, comedy that will keep you entertained.

Sherlock trolling Watson. Not real Sherlock Holmes film as such, and neither his parody but something in between.
