Pretty engaging premise and a fine cast - always love that Fay Wray - but it's like the director could barely lurch out of bed for it.

This has got the lovely Fay Wray. Ralph Bellamy in the lead is alright in his quiet way. Melvyn Douglas looks sleazy. Roscoe Ates looks the part as a smalltime crook. So a solid cast. Too bad director Phil Rosen couldn't get more out of this overly slow moving crime drama and it's really poor high climax scenes.
