Womit haben wir das verdient?

The premise of a 16-year-old girl converting to Islam and her mother's less than thrilled response being played for laughs could have been a recipe for disaster. Fortunately, the film does a good job balancing the comedy with social commentary. Taking an Austrian perspective on Islamic values, feminism, and adolescent rebellion; the film doesn't shy away from criticising each, but without becoming offensive. While the production is a little simple, a good cast make it an enjoyable watch.
