Wonder Woman: Bloodlines

There was just something off about this story I couldn't quite put my finger on it. The final battle is pretty cool and that gets all my points.

Aside from the clunky and ham-fisted sister relationship, the rest of this movie is pretty alright and, honestly, one of the better depictions of Wonder Woman on the screen.

Not the best modern-day DC animation I'm afraid. The ending fight was the better part

While I enjoyed seeing the origin story again in the beginning, I didn't enjoy much of anything else in the movie, unfortunately. There was potential there but I think they just chose the wrong story.

This is a great Movie. Enemies are trying to find the location to find Amazon and steal their technology. You find out a bigger enemy is Medusa in this movie who Wonder Woman beats and kills. Side Storyline, Vanessa is Silver Swan. Her Mother dies in this movie, so she is seeking revenge vs Diana who later on helps her. Cut scene in this, You find out how the mother was really killed. Don't want to spoil that. They make Wonder Woman really powerful in this movie.

The first bit, which condenses the opening of the 09 film into about 10 minutes & does so in the clunkiest way possible, had me worried. It does get better from there, but it's still cluttered & clumsy in its ideas & execution. It also isn't meant for anyone not deeply familiar with Wonder Woman & her history, as nothing from the lasso to the significance of the baddies is ever explained. I liked the characters, but the story was really messy. WW09 is significantly better, but this is okay.

Bad plot, cool final climax and fight. Lazy antagonists. And another Origin movie. Yucks.

The typical serious approach to the DC Universe Warner Bros has been doing. Which means a fairly slow and heavy pace. Not much of comic relief or any of that. Simply a story of good and evil. In a way I liked that for Wonder Woman. Not the type of animation film which will get the adrenaline pumping, but captivating nonetheless. If it'll leave a lasting impression remains to be seen.
