Tell me, O muse, of that ingenious hero with the penetrating Australian accent, who without anyone really caring embarked on another poorly conceived adventure, in which not even the tiniest of fucks is given to anything other than visual effects.

It's interesting that Hera, Apollo, Aphrodite, Hermes, Dionysus, Athena, Demeter, and Artemis were all too busy to help stop Cronus from escaping. Especially since killing them would be high on his to do list.

I traveled back in time with the goal of showing this movie to my 9-year old self, since I felt unable to accurately form an opinion on this product because of my advanced age. His reaction: "I like the parts where it is like a video game. I did not like the parts where it is not like a video game." Well said, younger me. Well said.

Despite a couple moments of visual inventiveness and splendor, this feels a lot more like watching a friend play a boss rush mode in a hack and slash video game than a movie. Outside of a few likable bits with Toby Kebbell's character Agenor, there's basically nothing resembling a genuine, human moment in its two hours (ironic for a film exploring the value of humanity). Worse than any of the three Transformers films, honestly.

Good effects, competent 3D, Sam Worthington seems to slip in and out of accents a lot, Rosamund Pike is pretty, most of the film is spent guessing when Liam Neeson is going to die. Meh. Better than Clash of the Titans in almost every way but also much more forgettable. At least Clash had the decency to piss me off through its sheer lack of quality.

An incredible cast for such a shit film. But I could watch Rosamund Pike run around in skimpy Greek outfits for hours, so I was entertained throughout this film, despite how fucking bad it was.

So, Liebesman had the money to make the Transformers-meets-the-greek-mythology, which is evidently absurd, a CGI sword and sorcery for the God of war generation, but at least this is much better than the first: there is Cronos, Perseus has something to fight for, there is Rosa Pike, and there is the hippie demigod called Agenor. Interesting.

The movie is based upon characters from Greek mythology, but the story itself is original. The main theme is the demise of the gods, however very little is done to really embrace the tragedy of the plot line. Also it only features four gods out of a very rich pantheon which is strange since the story line clearly affects all gods. The movie's main strength is its CGI. If you want to see Greek myths in a visually stunning way, watch it. Otherwise it's not worth your time.

Whereas the last film was uniquely messy enough to hold one's interest, Wrath is just a bit "bleh". There's a sweet spot in the bad spectrum that Clash hits; Wrath aims a bit higher and gets stuck part way, inadvertently making it marginally more competent and miles less entertaining.

Wrath of the Titans wasn't as good as the first in the series. The story was boring. The formula was much the same as the first one. Exposition, exposition, agency, and, finally, big monster that doesn't really look good to fell in the last 20 minutes. Most of the cast returned for this movie but it didn't pack the same punch as the first time I watched it. Bill Nighy's character was a nice addition but, just like the first movie, great actors can't save a crap script.

Watching again, at home, without burden of expectation, I really enjoyed this. Terrific CGI, impressive battles, epic story. OK, so I'm a sucker for fantasy movies but if you like them then there's actually a lot here to enjoy.

Perseus is back to kill another ridiculously huge CGI monster. It's just a sequence of fight scenes with Sam Worthington gritting his teeth and battling a series of enemies not unlike the boss fights in a video game. The CGI and action were both pretty decent, though the 3D added next to nothing. I'd say this is marginally better than Clash of the Titans, but none of the visual spectacle will live long in the memory. One question: where were the rest of the gods?

A really not that good movie that isn't at all worth spending time to watch unless you've got time to waste or nothing else worth watching. Poor Perseus, should have left it at one film but probably got suckered into two.

Don't know why I wanted to see this since I never saw, and never intend to see, Clash of the Titans. This is just a fairly entertaining flick: dialogue and characters aren't memorable or well-written and it's not gonna hook anyone onto Greek mythology any time soon, but the action scenes are quite well done and it doesn't have that sterile cinematography that seems to permeate all other blockbusters. So, yeah, not bad.

"Wrath of the Titans" is the sequel to 2010's "Clash of the Titans", the remake that somehow, against all laws of nature. After vanquishing the monstrous Kraken, the demi-god Greek hero is enjoying the quiet life as a humble fisherman. However, a power struggle between the gods means he has to take up arms and venture into the lair of the Kronos to save the world. Aided by Rosamund Pike's Queen Andromeda and Toby Kebbell's Agenor, it's a titanic battle to the death.

The CGI circus was quite entertainment in good and in bad. Way better than it's predecessor, though the story was still silly. I understand that after big superhero hit movies they feel like to try the same with the source of super heroism. There was not much of good acting, though Bill Nighy made very memorable part. The labyrinth was also well thought.

I felt basically the same while watching this as I did when watching Clash. I had a lot of fun. I won't remember or give a shit about this after right now. It's a CGI fest with big monsters and Gods. All I wanted was a little entertainment and it delivered. It doesn't do anything exceptionally well but isn't poor either. Sure there are things it COULD do, but it didn't... so as is, it was an entertaining little romp through Greek Mythology.

The sequel to Clash, this movie just didn't have as much heart. The actors all did a fine job, I just thought the story was lacking a little bit. The thing that really made me angry was that they switched actresses for the part of Andromeda. I like Rosamund Pike but she looks nothing like the last actress who played the same part in Clash. The creatures in the film were also less interesting. I did really like Neeson and Fiennes in this though. Just an average sequel to make more money I guess.

Plenty of action, but I don't care about any of the characters, and I'm left feeling like so much of the plot (if there ever was much) was cut out. For example, without spoilers, let's just say there's a part of the film where they're supposed to have great difficulty in accomplishing a task, but manage it almost immediately. Don't bother watching this film.

Wrath Of The Titans is remarkably worse than its predecessor. I hated Clash but I genuinely wanted this sequel to be decent and I was completely open minded. How foolish I was to give this film a chance. The whole thing is a carbon copy. The plot is wafer thin and the action sequences are fun but generic and stupid. Worthington is dull as per and Pike is a horrible actress. Neeson & Fiennes' input is pointless again also. I just hope we don't get a third Titans film, but we probably will.

"Wrath of the Titans" fails on every (seriously, EVERY) level as an actual film, but where it truly hits rock bottom is in the fact that it draws inspiration from the Bayformers films, which have brought about the death of cinema, leading to filth such as this. It isn't one of the worst films ever made, as the Clash remake was, but I'd still rather watch the same ten minutes of the 80s Clash than the combined 3 hours these films make. I did enjoy Bubo's cameo.

It's a lazy, slapdash, puny-looking sequel to an original that I actually thought was pretty spirited and entertaining. This wheezes its way through a few obligatory setpieces, displaying the jumbled creativity of somebody who's in a bodacious hurry, then seems over before anything major has really even happened. Notably cruddy-looking special effects, too. I spent most of my time distracted by Worthington's bizarre Kenny Powers mullet.

To try and get the ratings system number system on the site to make more sense (a movie with a score of 60 is "bad"???), I apparently need to rate more "bad" movies. I try not to watch bad movies - don't you? So I'm going to try giving things I would NEVER purposely watch a 1, just in case the number 0 doesn't register with the algorithm the site uses

Visually quite impressive. I liked the scenery and the feel of the locations. But other than that, it feels uninspiring. There is no sense of uniqueness of the characters which is surprising given the richness of their history in Greek myths. Not convinced by the family love theme going on either, not with paper thin character building. Final boss fight was quite spectacular but a bit short. You know what, this feels way more like a video game than a movie.

I was hoping that money alone would not dictate the production effort on the sequel. The lack of effort is quite obvious. Nothing to entertain the audience beyond what is already expected from the movie. If one were to entertain oneself with a little more effort on the part of the brain do stay away from this. When your tired and you want to watch something loud and not cerebral this is definitely the one and I promise you watch it just the once.

The characters and story aren't as filled out as one would want, sure, but as pure spectacle, it's the absolute best you could ask for. Tons of wild, huge set-pieces; the sense of scale is ridiculous. Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson may not be given a lot to work with, but their talent and charisma still drives their scenes, and Bill Nighy and Toby Kebbell are fun to watch. I initially dismissed it as I did with Clash, but the film provides enough flashiness to make it a mild success.

Better than Clash of the Titans by all mean. The acting is not really good (in particular for Rosamund Pike who seems to be out of place everytime), but god the action scene! I loved them, the FX were good, the action is good, the fight are enjoyable, the struggle of the heroes are shown and it's easy to follow. I really liked the parallel between the Zeus/Hades/Ares who fought against Cronos first, then Persee/Agienor/Andromede who fight this time. Simply enjoyable and forgettable.
