As a light-hearted comedy, it accomplishes its task quite well, but we can't help but wonder if Yilmaz could have done a little bit more. The story is loosely edited and the characters are sometimes too cartoonish and annoying (i.e. the sheriff), but there are some genuine gems in the dialogues. High production values also add to the value, but blatant product placement negate all these mentioned. Props to the photography team though, they got the colors right just like the classic westerns.

Well it made me laugh here and there, but Cem yilmaz should try to do something more universal. Half of the movie is based one Turkish/English misunderstandings and with cultural references nearly 70% of the film would be unintelligible to non-Turkish audience. Production quality was quite high, with a bit of more effort he can come up with a world class comedy. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it from heimweh point of view and I hope someday we will be able to translate Turkish's richness in wordplay.

kağıt üzerinde isimlerin referanslarıyla beraber düşünülünce fikir oldukça ilgi çekici. türkiye'deki popüler film kültürüne dair dil üzerinden güzel gözlemleri var ve bunun ötesinde filmin mizahını gösterecek şekilde çok keyifli de başlıyor. fakat sonra garip bir tökezlemeye giriyor. cem yılmaz'ın en iyi işlerinden biri olma potansiyeli varken sinema dilinde yaşadığı sıkıntılarla vasat bir komedi olarak beliriyor.

This one could be a better movie with more serious humour. Some jokes and event gets boring through the end. You can actually feel that they were like "when is this gonna end!?" Considering all those hollywood movies with cheap acting and atmosphere definitely worth watching.

GORA ve AROG ile pek farki yok, skecler uzerine kurulu Cem Yilmaz komedisi.

Very disappointing, but deserves mention to try something new for a change.
