Yaji and Kita: The Midnight Pilgrims

Not your typical samurai flick, this quirky adventure concerns two flamboyantly gay, down-on-their-luck warriors who journey to a healing shrine to battle heroin addiction. When the titular characters (Tomoya Nagase and Shichinosuke Nakamura) saddle up their Harley to cruise through a fantasy landscape, it's anything goes in this decidedly odd hybrid that's part slapstick comedy, part musical and part Easy Rider-style road flick.
