You're in the Navy Now

"You're in the Navy Now" is a light-hearted Navy recruiter's dream, filled with good actors.

While a middle of the road (or sea) cute vehicle for Gary Cooper to charm his way through, the fact that this was the feature debut of so many others, like Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin, brough just as much enjoyment. All very small roles, but still, it became a spot the young actor challenge. The film itself had its humorous bits, but this felt like a very budget-Cooper with plenty of extended talking scenes which barely went anywhere.
