Şenay, an 11 year-old girl and Zeki, a gay nightclub singer go to search for Şenay's mother. During the journey that takes them from Germany to France, and then from there to Turkey, these two strangers begin a warm relationship. While the story displays conflicts and adventures, it explores themes such as homeland, exile and alienation. (myself.)
