Zaklete rewiry

The power struggles within the hotel staff hierarchy reek of political allegory, but further reading suggests it's simply an adaptation of the memoirs of a Krakow waiter in the 1930s. While a fairly standard story of a lowly worker rising through the ranks only to become what he once condemned, the film boasts impressive fluid camerawork and flawless set design, along with excellent performances from leads Kondrat and Wilhelmi.
