A quirky little film in much the same way that Fargo was - everyone in the town is nuts in one way or another, and the story moves quickly when it needs to and slows down when it works. The only real negative I can think of is that the director still has a lot to learn about balancing weird humor in a somewhat serious movie. Its tricky, and he screws up the tone a couple of times.
