Re: Criticker: Now Accepting Television Series
c) Reconsider season and episode ratings. Some shows vastly differ in quality when it comes to seasons. Some shine in their first season, others take some time. Therefore, I'd suggest you (A) have a general rating as you do have now but add (B) additional optional ratings for each season and (C) ge...

Loved this movie to death. The best of the year so far in my opinion.

Re: Thoughts about new summer blockbusters
So my thought is, am I just a grump or is this summer a weird intersection between summer movies getting a little better and a change in people where its more cool to have fun with a movie for what it is than to cynically give it serious analysis? I ignore 99% of critics and sites like rottentomato...

Re: Top Ten New Films to see in 2014
I'm too lazy to rank them or limit the list to ten but these are the films I'm anticipating the most. There is no guarantee that all of these films will be released in 2014 and some of them have already screened at festivals.. Inherent Vice by Paul Thomas Anderson Untitled Public School Project by N...

Re: Ellen Page comes out...
So easy to chalk up all the negative responses here to angry liberalism. But it's one thing to not like her as an actress. It's another to presume you know exactly that reasons why she "came out." You don't even know her personally. I guess I share part of the blame for even taking the tim...

Re: Letterboxd
I have just recently created an account with letterboxd. Unfortunately, I can't be a reliable source of information regarding whether it's worth it coz I haven't used it much. I do have to praise its beautiful design and layout. Personally, I still prefer Criticker. I simply don't have time to read ...

Re: Philip Seymour Hoffman
Deeply deeply saddened by this news. A fantastic and supremely talented actor. 46 is too soon. I expected decades more of great performances from him..

Re: Natalie Dormer, rising star
I loved her in The Tudors. She was the best thing about the show. Her portrayal of Anne Boleyn was quite fascinating. She is pretty but in an atypical way. When her character died in Season 2, I quickly lost interest in the show.

Felt exactly the same way. What a disappointment.
