Re: Movies/scenes that make you sympathise with the bad guy

Ferris Bueller's Day Off. The older you get, the more Ferris comes off as an arrogant little douche, the more the principal becomes sympathetic.

Re: Intralinking Movies

Cloud Atlas is right up your alley

Six different stories, each a different genre in a different setting and time period, all loosely connected by a subtle 'reincarnation' theme.

Re: What is your most HATED movie and why?

The problem with saying you hate a movie is that, in the end, its just an opinion. Inevitably someone will disagree, usually with good reason, and so no one film can be truly 'good' or 'bad'. Every film has both good and bad qualities. I, personally, don't believe in a 'perfect' movie (I can't under...

Would you recommend Netflix?

I've always had a ton of films I've wanted to see, but I can never track them down to watch. A lot of my friends use Netflix and they are always singing its praises. I've watched movies with them and it seems pretty nice, and a good listing of films. But would you recommend it? My internet isn't exa...

Re: Criticker vs Jinni vs the others...

I have accounts on Criticker, Jinni, and IMDb, and I like them all for their own personal reasons: IMDb: you can't beat their database and seer number of people visiting it, but at the same time, that makes it better as a viewing site to learn about movies, espcially new realeases, rather than a pla...

Re: Is Criticker your list of "Every Movie I've Ever Seen"?

I try to make it be, but of course there are always moments when I suddenly remeber a movie I saw a while back and just have completely forgotten about.

I don't count movies that I haven't watch all the way through, nor do I count movies I saw a long time ago and have half-forgotten by now.

Re: Introduce Yourself

Hullo, names Matthew, and for all I know I'm acting waaaayyy too smart about movies being only in high school. I'd like to think that I have better 'tastes' than a lot of kids, but I am into comedies with a smart twist, soft sci-fi (techno-babble turns me off) and I always enjoy a well-executed anim...
