To jump aboard the topic of exceptions: as a dr who fan I've wondered if the serials might be split from the 30 year run of the whole. They don't fit exact rules of being separated out, but even from the start they were vastly different productions with each serial in a sense being its own 90-150 mi...

Yeah but the ending reminded me of Doom so it must get extra points for that, especially when the Doom movie itself couldn't remind me of the fun I had playing the game.

Poor confused guy would have gotten wallopped in my house. I once kicked open every door in my house with a frying pan in one hand and a knife in the other because I was drunk and the Frankie Muniz movie Stay Alive spooked me.

This is totally unheard of in my neck of the woods, and I'm mildly surprised to read that it's actually still a thing. However, my own personal level of concern for locking my door is low because I have large dogs.

Gut reaction to how much i liked it, deciding on a score before i see a psi most times (i mostly use the database to track down work from actors/directors Im interested in and only look to psi if the synopsis doesn't immediately tell me if I'll like it or not, or if i think I'll like it but feel iff...

The Thin Man series is a favorite of mine. Fun, light and with a style fast wit that's almost signature to the decade. The chemistry between Loy and Powell is phenomenal.
