Re: The IMDb Streaming Service - Freedive
Thanks for the review. Would not have known about Freedive without it! Will definitely check it out, because there's never a wrong time for penitence.

Re: A Decade of Criticker
Holy crap... It has been almost 10 years. I remember kumpel-ing the Denizen soon after I joined in June 2006, thinking he was some wizened hermit living in a remote mountain dojo watching dubbed kung-fu and 70s blacksploitation films all day. To think we're practically the same age... I really need ...

Re: Kung Fu Contra as Boneca AKA Bruce Lee vs Gay Power *SPOILERS*
Part of me desperately wants to find a copy of this movie with subtitles to get some answers...
Some things in this world are better left a mystery.

Re: Underrated or underappreciated mini-reviews
Are they worthy of note? I'm not sure. Did they make me choke on a cheerio this morning at the breakfast table? Yes. Am I writing this from the afterlife? Possibly. Username: <<DesertPunk>> Hellraiser: Inferno "I've heard legends that if you sync this movie up with the self-titled Stone Sour LP...

Re: What constitutes a good mini-review?
An interesting question that has as many answers as there are users on Criticker. For me, personally, it's all about whether or not that review can get a reaction out of me (whether it be a laugh or a shock or whatever). I don't need to read a rehash of what a thousand other reviewers have already s...

Re: Criticker-like site for books?
I've never really liked goodreads, so I use librarything. It's rating algorithm is nothing like criticker, but the recommendations I have received have been, for the most part, spot on.

Re: Impersonation / False Identity
Not as awesome as the other suggestions, but the first one off the top of my head: Just One of the Guys (1985).
Yeah... That says a lot about me, huh...
Props to saudade for Kindergarten Cop.
Edit. One degree of separation to get to She's the Man (2006). Huzzah!

Re: Trolling Oneself
When I was on holiday in Thailand, I stopped by a 7-11 to buy a cold bottle of beer to go with my plastic baggie of oh-so-sweet street meat and came across a VCD copy of Alien Armageddon on sale for about 2 dollars. Literally, I could only bear about 10 minutes before my sanity started ripping apart...

Re: 2000 Films Ranked!
Congrats to all on the impressive milestones. 2000 is quite the number. I suppose I'd probably be there myself if fatherhood hadn't thrown a spanner in my planner. I still watch a movie a day (thanks to my Tokyo commute), but it's getting harder to sit down at home and whip up those mini reviews (wh...
