Export PSI
Lately I've been working on my media server and importing lots of data for the movies in my collection, eg IMDb rating, Rotten Tomates, Metacritic etc. This is great for generating views of my collection sorted by other peoples's ratings. But what I really want to be able to do is generate a view th...

Re: How Many Films?
2197 ranked. Been watching films for 40 years. Feel reasonably knowledgeable but always gaps to fill... it's an ongoing process
I guess it's also not just about watching, but about discussing, reading, analysing etc which tends to also happen over time.

Re: How is the score/tier/import from imdb system working?
I think there's a fundamental flaw with Criticker's tier system... As you say, it's a percentile thing. Here's the problem - Criticker assumes that my lowest X% are terrible films, eg Tier 1 - when this is simply not the case - Who goes out of their way to watch terrible films? I always try to watch...

Re: How is the score/tier/import from imdb system working?
Batch editing such a large collection is a pain, and also like herding cats I guess because as I update a bunch of votes the site will readjust my tiers and I may have to go over things again. I did update my quips tears to better match the tiers Criticker is using, but again, I imagine they will dr...

Re: How is the score/tier/import from imdb system working?
Yeah, I've just run into this. Imported 2000+ ratings from IMDb and find Criticker has skewed my entire rating distribution incorrectly across the ten tiers such that I have 300+ films ranked Tier 1 - Terrible, even though my IMDb ratings for these ranged from 50 (average) downwards... The obvious w...

Running Times
Any chance of adding running times to the movie data? Every time I look for a film to watch the most glaring omission is the runtime. I come to Criticker to find my next film to watch... I set my criteria and come up with a hit list... But then find I have to go to other sites to find runtimes for e...

iPhone app
Is any work being done on an iPhone app port of Criticker to allow us access to our PSIs/rankings etc on the move? Would be awesome to stand in a cinema foyer looking at films and checking Criticker for the one I'm most likely to like!! OR, I see Flixster already have an app which can include rating...

Re: Ability to move films up and down
I *really* miss the ability to move films up and down on my ratings page; it made making quick adjustments very easy and was one of Criticker's power options. Now we have to select each title, edit our score, submit it and return to the ratings page.
