Re: Do you know movies similar to "It follows" ?
Not exactly "slow-walking, constantly stalking entity", but here are some films that feature something similar: Rubber - A fast-rolling, constantly stalking wheel. Don't Breathe - A medium-speed, constantly stalking, blind old man. In Fabric - A medium-speed-flying, constantly stalking dress. Zygote...

Missing pages in my Remembered Films collection
Hi all. I seem to be only be able to access one page of my Remembered Films collection (I remember having more). I've attached a screenshot showing this.
Edit: Also, the attachment option for the forum doesn't seem to work on my end.

Re: Criticker ranking system has one enormous flaw
Example 1 (similar to my opening post) https://i.imgur.com/DB89dPA.png Example 2 (showing that rating bad titles makes your TCI much worse than it should be with someone who only rates good titles) https://i.imgur.com/MKXF4bn.png Example 3 (the best one yet, user A and user B have very similar tast...

Re: Seeking user insight for unsolicited redesign.
Wait, so what exactly is this for? Are you going to make a mirror of Criticker with different UI? Or are you going to make a new website/app similar to it but which doesn't use the same back-end and database? If it's the case of the latter, I reckon there's at least a couple improvements that could ...

Re: Take into account the fact that not all users have seen the same films only
@uvlalid: welcome to the forum @mpowell: I might be wrong, but I think you have misread uvlalid's proposal: Using my suggested system to calculate the TCI of User 2 for User 1, only Films A and B will be used which for both users will have percentile scores of 100 and 0 respectively in that case. I...

Re: Option to add and show similar listings
nice idea! especially the "ordered by the amount of users that thought the listing was similar" part is helpful, if it is implemented as a kind of voting system so that the closest matches automatically "bubble up" as they have the most votes. Thanks for linking the related thre...

Option to add and show similar listings
On a film/game's page, there'd be a "Similar" section where users can add other films/games that they think are similar to the current one and which would show a list of these ordered by the amount of users that thought the listing was similar. This would serve as a nice alternative to the...

Take into account the fact that not all users have seen the same films only
Hi all. I'm not sure if criticker's algorithm already works like this or if it's been suggested already, but I think that the algorithm should take into account the fact that not all users have seen the same films and only those films. To do this, I propose that when calculating the TCI of a user, o...
