Re: Huh? So we started adding TV Series now?
I love FARSCAPE but was surprised to find it listed here. It does end with a mini-series, but the four seasons leading up to that mini-series (and without some knowledge of which the mini-series is impossible to understand) would seem to indicate that it should be removed? I wanted to add some seria...

Re: subjective/objective standards
I'll go one step further and say that all good criticism is subjective -- and if it isn't, the critic isn't doing his or her job. When you follow a critic's writings over time, you learn where they stand on things and this lends value to everything they write. There used to be one local critic in th...

Re: Grindhouse
People are flagging my posts as inappropriate.

You can disagree with my opinion, that's your right and privilege in a free society -- after nearly half a century of imprisonment on this effing planet (a sentence from which only movies allow me any temporary form of escape) I am quite used t...

Re: More Firefox Problems
I take it back -- although it is slow and funky and the drop down menus don't display (they function, but I can't see them -- weird!), I _can_ use Criticker on my system 9 Imac with Internet Explorer. In some ways it actually works better than before, although speed is an issue.

The comment...

Re: Grindhouse
Who cares _how_ this piece of trash is released or what it's called? No matter how you slice and dice it, this movie (and the entire trend of which it is a part) is an abomination, part of what's wrong with Hollywood, pop culture and the world. It saddens me that people in other countries are watchi...

Re: Firefox Problems
Criticker no longer displays properly in Mozilla Firefox (since the update) -- and I haven't even tried it on either of the browsers I use on my home computer, because I'm certain that the site is no longer compatible at any level with my system 9 IMac. Oh well. IE and workplace PCs still work. Just...
