Suspiria
Valley of the Dolls
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Elevator to the Gallows
Cheeky
It kills me not to include McCabe & Mrs. Miller on here, as well as CQ, Muriel's Wedding and a number of others. I chose the above mostly for mood and replay value, except for Cheeky, which is purely for carnal purposes. Valley of the Dolls might be more for the cheese, considering that I'll need my dairy.
I seriously want to put Viva Las Vegas on here just for the scene with Ann-Margret in those white shorts, but I feel that the rest of the movie may not hold up if I'm stuck on the island for a long time.
Anyway, it's hard to leave behind so many movies because they all have become part of my collective viewing consciousness. Each memorable little scene is like a baby. The car washing scene from Cool Hand Luke, Wings Hauser acting batshit in Vice Squad, trying on underwear in Felicity, Gary Oldman acting batshit in The Firm... sigh.
