Also, when Satantango was first mentioned around here I had a poke around and it caught my interest. Think I'm going to check that out too..A 7+ hour Hungarian drama about some people sitting around in an abandoned town waiting for money? There's something about that that just has to be good.
I just posted about it briefly in the Neglected Gems thread, but yes, it's exceptionally good. Everything about it is perfection (Kino's DVD is somewhat crappy, but the movie is so great that it's still worth it).
