Always strong on visuals, but I kept getting the feeling that Malick was like, "Hey, this is pretty, y'all do something". It worked a few times but..... It's sort of about the music business, but there wasn't much going on soundtrack wise. I must have fallen asleep for a bit cause I completely missed Christian Bale, Holly Hunter and Benicio Del Toro. My favorite scene was Gosling zipping through the slow traffic at a moderate speed, sort of like Dancing with the Cars--camera in the back seat. but it was cool. 6/10
