It's hilarious to see that I've seen more Kazan films than Scorsese, because I literally only watched his filmography so that I could watch Scorsese's documentary about Kazan without spoilers. Aside from Kazan and Raimi, which I intentionally finished, the rest are representative of a combination of my taste and a bias towards filmmakers that make things that are casually watchable.
As far as best average score, Scorsese wins out of this bunch, but other contenders like QT, PTA, Lumet, Kubrick, W. Anderson, Herzog were cut off by the size of their filmography or my number of watches.

Re: Who are the ten directors you have seen the most films by?
It's been six years since I last posted and I've seen quite a few movies in that time (although, I'm sure, not as many as a lot of you). Updated list:
1. David Cronenberg (15 films, 76.67 avg)
2. Steven Spielberg (15 films, 74.67 avg)
3. Alfred Hitchcock (15 films, 73.33 avg)
4. Martin Scorsese (14 films, 76 avg)
5. Joel and Ethan Coen (14 films, 72.21 avg)
6. Robert Altman (12 films, 72 avg)
7. John Frankenheimer (10 films, 68.8 avg)
8. Christopher Nolan (8 films, 84.63 avg)
9. Paul Thomas Anderson (8 films, 82.5 avg)
10. Peter Jackson (8 films, 81 avg)
I also have 5 other directors that I've seen 8 films from (Stanley Kubrick, David Fincher, Ridley Scott, Robert Aldrich, and John Carpenter), but Nolan, PTA, and Jackson win out with the higher averages.
1. David Cronenberg (15 films, 76.67 avg)
2. Steven Spielberg (15 films, 74.67 avg)
3. Alfred Hitchcock (15 films, 73.33 avg)
4. Martin Scorsese (14 films, 76 avg)
5. Joel and Ethan Coen (14 films, 72.21 avg)
6. Robert Altman (12 films, 72 avg)
7. John Frankenheimer (10 films, 68.8 avg)
8. Christopher Nolan (8 films, 84.63 avg)
9. Paul Thomas Anderson (8 films, 82.5 avg)
10. Peter Jackson (8 films, 81 avg)

Re: Who are the ten directors you have seen the most films b
My top 10 are:
David Cronenberg 13 Films 78.15 AVG
Joel and Ethan Coen 13 films 72 AVG
Martin Scorsese 11 Films 80.09 AVG
Steven Spielberg 10 Films 75 AVG
Christopher Nolan 7 Films 87 AVG
Francis Ford Coppola 7 Films 84.29 AVG
Peter Jackson 7 Films 83.14 AVG
Sidney Lumet 7 Films 82.57 AVG
Robert Altman 7 Films 78.29 AVG
David Fincher 7 Films 75.43 AVG
Although I enjoy the films of the above and they are indicative of my preferences, this list does not include a few of my favorite directors simply because they have not directed enough films yet. Mostly this refers to Paul Thomas Anderson and Darren Aronofsky who have each only directed 5 feature films, but who I consider to be favorites.

1. Steven Spielberg - 16 - 74.19
2. Alfred Hitchcock - 12 - 87.00
3. Werner Herzog - 12 - 83.67
4. Joel and Ethan Coen - 11 - 87.00
5. Martin Scorsese - 9 - 84.44
6. Stanley Kubrick - 9 - 91.89
7. Ingmar Bergman - 9 - 86.33
8. Quentin Tarantino - 9 - 83.44
9. David Fincher - 8 - 76.75
10. Woody Allen - 8 - 82.13
D.W. Griffith (avg 54.63) and Louis Lumière (avg 61.00) also had 8, but I left them off in favor of Fincher and Allen because they're mostly shorts and they have that number because of the Film History class I took, so that's less so voluntary choice, which the rest of the list are examples of. And as with djross, the 103 films from them equal ~10% of my rankings.
