The difficulty level depends on your target audience. The majority of users on this site are in the age range of 15 - 30. With that being said, the movies that they grew up with are between 10 - 25 years old, i.e. 1985 - present. Not many people will ever guess obscure films from the 30's, seeing as it's not what they would normally seek out. There are no rules to which films you could post, but if you want to go "obscure", I'd stick in the range listed, as there is a better chance that people have seen or at least heard of the film.

The movies that I have posted thus far have been purposely "easy". I've done this with one hope in mind.....to get the game rolling and to give as many people as possible a chance to participate. I call these films "Level 1", where as you instantly know the movie by connecting the clues. "Level 2" films would be images that are 1 degree removed from the obvious clue.

This is clearly " The Wizard of Oz". It takes but a split second to get it. But what if I make clues for the same film, but one degree removed (each new pic would relate to something more obvious in the movie)

This is still " The Wizard of Oz" but it requires a bit more connecting of the dots.

The brick represents the yellow brick road
The farm represents Dorothy's home which she is trying to get back to
The emerald represents the Emerald City

We can just post if it's a level 1 or level 2 clue, to let people know what they are dealing with.
