Search found 1 match: Jack Warden

I recall a film probably made around the 1950's that had a plot like "Unknown." A man returns home to find that no one knows him and that he has been replaced by an imposter. Suspecting either Dana Andrews or Dane Clark as the protagonist, I ruled them out with a search of their filmographies. A general search of imposter movies also showed nothing.

12/14/13 update: I recently watched Roger Moore's 1970 "The Man Who Haunted Himself;" the plot was quite similar to "Unknown," but it was not the film I referred to.

09/27/14 update: I found the movie: "The Man with my Face," 1956. It starred Barry Nelson and was Jack Warden's first film. It seems to be available only on YouTube, and the picture quality there is pretty good. It's a decent B picture with a few plot holes, but not bad overall.
