I myself probably tend to watch more "new" movies than other films, at least lately when I'm spending most of my time in the theater.. Anyways, here are all my tier 10 films from the period 1990 - 2009. At this point I can vouch for all of these except Elephant which I only watched before I got into film and loved it then, but have since come to think of my rating of it as ridiculously high at least considering how much everyone else hates it. I need to watch it again and re-rank it.. Anyways, the other rankings probably reflect my current opinion (although my Seinfeld love might be entirely nostalgia). No tier 10 films for 2009 yet, it seems, even though I've seen a load of new films.. Huh.
