there are a lot of scenes that might actually have a good shot of running for this title, such as the end of the fight between anakin and obi-wan in episode 3 ("you were the chosen one!"), jude singing all you need is love during the across the universe finale, the magnificent "death is the road to awe" scene in the fountain... but I think if had to name just one, my pick definitely would be the baby's on fire part of the velvet goldmine. it's a scene of raw chemistry, both between the song and the singers and the singers themselves. jonathan rhys meyers and ewan mcgregor just show how capable they are of losing themselves in the pure magnetism of showmanship.
