Re: QMDB Recommendations - Part 2

I don't understand the "TCI" on here. Isn't that a measure of how my tastes compare to someone else's? Is this TCI a measure of me vs. Quicky, or...?

On my top 15:

I had to look up who Minoru Chiaki is  He's second fiddle in a bunch of Kurosawa movies.

I'm surprised that Scorsese cracked my top 15. He's done two of my all-time favorites (Taxi Driver, Goodfellas) but I'm not head over heels about his other stuff. I guess it's because I've passed over some of his less acknowledged work, so the average score is maybe higher than it would be otherwise.

Other than that, it seems pretty close. Bergman and Ray are my top 2, and Bunuel, Truffaut, Kurosawa and Kieslowski would definitely be in my top 10. And yes, I DO love Joseph Cotten! I should track down more of his movies, actually.

On my bottom 15:

I also had to look up Celia Weston, a bit player in a whole bunch of poor-to-mediocre movies.

There are people in there I truly, truly despise: Billy Crystal, Sylvester Stallone, Robin Williams, Jeremy Piven. But I'm really surprised by some of them. Desmond Llewelyn? Maybe I've underrated some 007 films. Christopher Walken?

Regarding this: "The average rating for 18-29-year-olds on IMDB.com. Yeah… sorry, I'm 23 myself." I'm 37, I don't know if you can take that into account next time you do an update.
