Kevin Smith didn't go to film school. He made Clerks while working at a video store and, like Tarantino, basically just learned what he knew by being a total movie junkie (hey, maybe there's hope for all of us!).
Speilberg famously dropped out of film school. I'm not sure how long he was there, but certainly not long enough to get his degree. He did, however, go back and complete his degree sometime in the late 90s or early 2000s. I believe he submitted Jaws for his final project.
I don't believe Kubrick or Woody Allen attended film school. Woody Allen got his start as a playwright and Kubrick as a photographer.
I believe
Smith went to Vancouver Film School, but dropped out halfway through. This is where he met long time producer Scott Mosier.
