No I did not. Had you actually read my posts, you would have also noted Mariah Carey, star of such classics as "Glitter", and the lead herself, Gabourey 'Gabby' Sidibe, who was a random suburban teenage black girl, and had never acted in a film before at all.
Hell, I can even add another name, Lenny Kravitz, a musician with no acting chops who essentially played himself.
That's 4 main actors of the film who are either God-awful, or completely unknown. And yet, you loved "Precious", while dismissing "Takers" out of hand.

If not, I suggest you go in with LOW expectations like myself and possibly be surprised than remain optimistic and walk out disappointed.
It's funny that in this case you're also bringing up 4 actors. And in a movie with a much larger cast than "Precious" had.
As for the actors, I've never seen Jay Hernandez in any film. Chris Brown, to my knowledge, has never acted in a film before. Thus, I have no clue whether they're any good. I moderately dislike Paul Walker and strongly dislike Hayden Christensen. You know, just like I moderately dislike Mariah Carey, and strongly dislike Monique?

“It may be good, it may be bad.” AFTER I posted a shitload of great reviews;
Though in case, you decide “to remain OPTIMISTIC" (if you in fact can’t stand Walker, Christensen, Hernandez,… and I hope, for the sake of cinema, that’s the case.)
Weird, don’t you think ?
My message in this topic is the EXACT SAME; "It may be good, it may be bad." That's true regardless of whether we're talking about District 9 or Takers. No film deserves to be called great based on a trailer, and no movie deserves to be called the cause of a worldwide apocalypse because you don't like some of the actors in it.
Each one is silly over-exaggeration based on limited information.
And it's only "weird" if you make up your mind on whether a film is good or bad before ever stepping inside the theater.
