I thought Red State was great,but i felt it was very miss leading.

Red State isn't a horror movie like Smith says it is,it's a Siege movie with horror elements. I went in wanting a balls out horror movie and was pissed i didn't get one. I have no problem with the way it went,i thought it was entertaining enough. I just wish people would stop calling it a horror movie,cos it isn't. Not from were i'm standing anyway.

I also thought the ending was poor,i won't go into any spoilers,but it goes a direction near the very end that almost blew my mind. If Smith had the balls,it could have made all the difference and turned Red State from a great movie into an outstanding movie.

Saying that,Red State is by far Smiths best movie in some time. It has real moments of dread,and Michael Parks is bat shit crazy.
