i finally thought of one: rainer werner fassbinder
although i haven't quite seen enough of his movies to say so with certainty my ratings are misleading so dont say OH YOU'VE ONLY SEEN ONE OF HIS MOVIES, im actually part way though berlin alexanderplatz (thanks to netflix, only get one disc at a time and there are 5 or 6) im also part way through a couple more of them. i just cant get the will to sit through them.
