There is something about Randy Quaid that really rains on my potential enjoyment of a movie.

I think this film also gets a little overrated because of the time and place it comes from, as well as the cast and crew associated with it. Still pretty good, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again at some point to see if I click better with it then.

Not as powerful as the documentary on Harvey Milk, and not different enough from other "We Shall Overcome" type films to be all that interesting.

Totally simple in so many ways, and yet it's utterly terrifying. I watched this alone at 1 in the morning in a very dark, cold room and the regret was immediate.
