Just downloaded the entire series (since they're only about ~10min each), and after i give them a listen, I'll report back and provide feedback.

I'm always on the prowl for good (preferably free) stand-up comedy podcast...
More recently I've been listening to a lot of Louie C.K & Daniel Tosh, so I'm excited to get some fresh new stuff in the mix.

Glad you're excited!

Just so you know, the audio quality gets better once you start listening to the February recordings. We managed to fix the echo and used a secondary mic to get louder audience laughter. The January recordings make it sound like the audience is either a) tiny or b) not enjoying themselves which would be the exact opposite of what actually went down.

EDIT: Wait, do you know of any other stand up comedy podcasts? I actually haven't heard of any besides mine.

I use to listen to the comedy station on Pandora, who would do something very similarly to what you're doing; play ~10 min segments of various Comedians (but they stuck with mostly famous/popular ppl).

Here's my feedback;

First and foremost, thanks!
It's free, so the price is right, and I love comedy.

This seemed basically like a Podcast of amateur or "up and coming" comedians, which I really enjoy to listen to and since i don't get a chance to go the local comedy club as often as i like, your podcast is an excellent substitute.

There was some good stuff which had me LOLing (Joel Buxton), and also a bad stuff (Amanda Day) which is actually kinda enjoyable to listen to someone bomb so hard since it's only ~10 min. The segment lengths were very good and the mix of good and bad performances added suspense and made me want to keep listening!
The "joke commercials" added to intros of each comic for the Jan 14th show (first 8 podcast) might have been the stupidest thing I've ever listened to, and I'd recommend to cut that out or at-least discontinue with that awful idea.

I'll stay subscribed to the podcast and spread it around to some of my friends, I think it's entertaining.

The podcasts Shogun listed are more talk-show type, and there are PLENTY of those... I personally subscribe to a few myself (NPR: Car Talk, NPR: This American Life (though not always funny), Ricky Gervais, etc.).
