Fine, I could also go with your love of a typical romance film, Her, as epitomizing incredible depth.
Stewball wrote:Then how can you possibly criticize contemporary movies in a rational manner? Ah, in the same manner as seeing a bovine female as attractively curvacious, no doubt.
While I laughed at "bovine females", this analogy is particularly confusing and stupid, even for you. Are you saying I haven't personally experienced curvy women in the same way I haven't experienced most contemporary films? Well, that's simply not true.
I have slept with a great many tall, curvy, and even fat women over the years. I leave the twigs to you, my friend.
Also, I think you're confusing yourself Stewie. As usual. I have seen a small number of contemporary films, yes, but those that I have were invariably highly-regarded (Django Unchained, End of Watch, The Artist, Skyfall, Her, Only God Forgives) but still disappointing.
Even the ones I did generally like (The King's Speech, Argo, Midnight in Paris) weren't anything especially good. Just decent.
Again, I'm all about learning from mistakes and maximizing my utility. Which means watching less of these pictures in the future.

Yes, End of Watch is such a deep and profound intellectual masterpiece!
Stewball wrote:Such criticism from one who thinks phony cheap martial arts movies are good or realistic action, that the 70s is the Golden Age of Cinema, that fat is either healthy or attractive, or that Rowan Atkinson is anything but retarded and boring, is beyond the pale and a waste of my virtual breath.
Okay Stewie, the rest of what you wrote is opinion. Dopey and ignorant opinion, but opinion nonetheless.
However, saying that a 5' 7" 150 pound woman is not healthy is objectively an incorrect, moronic statement. You should feel ashamed for such tin-foil hat lunacy. Medically, 5' 7" and 150 pounds is not even considered mildly overweight. A woman would have to be at least 5' 7" 200 pounds, and possibly even more, for her weight to significantly impact her health negatively.

YOUR gems?!!?! Stewie, I worry about you, man. Are you suffering from delusions and hallucinations?
