I'll have to say that Dean Spanley is a gem. I came across it during a sale and took a chance. At first I was sort of snoozing at the Edwardian men in stiff collars, then suddenly I sat up straight and stayed like that throughout this really funny, quirky and really touching movie. How Sam Neill could do his part without cracking up, I'll never know. One of my absolute favourite movies, and most people seem to have missed it.
