How so? I was voicing your cynicism (which is a strange word for telling the Truth), and the likelihood of it being driven by her dry spell (read tanking career). I don't see how I've gained any sympathy for her that wasn't already there jerking knees all around. In any case, my Prime Directive is to is to point out the Truth rather than cower.
One of my favorite all time quotes is this from Inherit the Wind delivered by Spencer Tracy: "All you have to do is knock on any door and say, 'If you let me in, I'll live the way you want me to live, and think the way you want me to think', and the blinds will go up, and all the windows will open, and you'll never be lonely ever again."
I only bring it up because there's so damn much in common between combating Creationism and Political Correctness.
