It's hilarious to see that I've seen more Kazan films than Scorsese, because I literally only watched his filmography so that I could watch Scorsese's documentary about Kazan without spoilers. Aside from Kazan and Raimi, which I intentionally finished, the rest are representative of a combination of my taste and a bias towards filmmakers that make things that are casually watchable.
As far as best average score, Scorsese wins out of this bunch, but other contenders like QT, PTA, Lumet, Kubrick, W. Anderson, Herzog were cut off by the size of their filmography or my number of watches.

Re: Who are the ten directors you have seen the most films by?
Buster Keaton - 26 films at 3.8 avg
Johnnie To - 19 films at 4.4 avg (+1 unrated)
Alfred Hitchcock - 17 films at 4.8 avg (+3 unrated)
Werner Herzog - 17 films at 4.1 avg (+1 unrated)
Coen Brothers - 15 films at 4.9 avg (+3 unrated)
Steven Soderbergh - 15 films at 3.1 avg (+1 unrated)
Steven Spielberg - 15 films at 3.2 avg (+5 unrated)
Martin Scorsese - 13 films at 5.1 avg (+2 unrated)
D.W. Griffith - 13 films at 3.9 avg (+1 unrated)
Sion Sono - 12 films at 4.3 avg
John Huston - 12 films at 3.9 avg
if a film's unrated it means i don't remember it well enough to rate it. scale is currently 1-8. why the hell can't we view by percentile anymore? the filmmaker list seems inferior in general to how it used to be.
filmmakers i expect to pop up on this list in the near future are mike leigh (currently 10), hong sang-soo (currently 10) and abel ferrara (currently 9).
