Those would have to be my most hated. ;)

Well, the timely bumb in this thread brings it full circle. It looks like Michael Bay's lack of inspiration**, talent, and Image caught up with him in a perfect storm of brain lockup at the Consumer Electronics Show. The question that stumped him, "What do you think?"

**the pinnacle (read nadir) of which includes, Transformers...Transformers 2.... and....uhhhh...., Transformers 3......

Re: Directors You Hate

LOL @ people naming Uwe Boll. Don't put yourself too far out on that limb there, guys.

Anyway, Lars von Trier, David Lynch, and any filmmaker who produces nonsense under the guise of it being "art."

I also believe they're criminally overrated, and in one case, is a plagiarizing motherfucker, so rather than naming obvious failures like "Uwe Boll" and "Michael Bay", I'll go with these two;

Stanley Kubrick (I admit I need to see way more of his films, in all honesty)
Quentin Tarantino (Still can't understand the love considering the rip-offs, occasionally painfully cheesy dialogue, all reminiscent of an unpopular high school freshman trying unsuccessfully to impress the upperclassmen.)

I agree 100% with everything you said.

Re: Directors You Hate

Nope, I haven't seen The Fall. I remember reading on Wikipedia him saying something along the lines of Uwe Boll's quote, "I'm the only genius in the business."

2. Uwe Boll
3. The asshole who directed The Cell (he thinks he's the best director ever)

Re: Directors You Hate

Michael Bay = teh
awesomeness
shittiness.

And even though Uwe Boll's movies are worse than anything else, he still seems like a down to earth, intelligent guy (even though he's a lousy filmmaker).. maybe his newer movies (Tunnel Rats for instance) will be better.
