Yep.

I was thinking the very same thing watching him.

I thought she was really good. Great fun.

I really like Goggins, and thought he was very good here too. Zoe Bell seemed completely superfluous and I find her annoying at the best of times. I'm assuming she's a friend of Quentin's, as she's no actress imo. I was willing someone to shoot her as soon as possible.

I'm pretty sure the story Warren told the general about his son didn't happen - or at least is wildly exaggerated for the purposes of getting a rise out of the general. That's no problem, but the fact that Tarantino showed the events as described by Warren is at odds with the fact that it's probably not true. It seemed weird to me.

Really enjoyed the movie though.

Only Tarantino movie higher than this for me is "Pulp Fiction". But I re-watch Tarantino movies a lot of times and also re-rate them frequently.

Tim Roth's role seemed like it was written for Christoph Waltz and Tim Roth played it like Waltz would have, I thought.

It was a rather long movie but it doesn't really drag except for a small while in the middle. OTOH, I found Django Unchained to drag much more towards the end though I liked the movie.

The thing about the General's son didn't really fit with the rest of the movie - seemed sort of unnecessarily inserted into the movie.

Like many Tarantino movies, a lot of blood, a few heads blown off etc. Dialogue wise, it's good but nothing stands out like Waltz's dialogue with the guy who hides the Jew in "Inglorious Basterds"

I thought Goggins was great and I'm from the South. Roth was very Roth, who if anything patented that sinister uber-smile long ago. As for Waltz, I think he's become stereotyped which came crashing down around him after his lackluster, same 'ol same 'ol, abbreviated (?reduced?) performance in Spectre.
