Haha, Quicky - the peacemaker You're right and I wanted to mention something similar, but I didn't want to waste too much energy on this guy/topic. I'm just curious if and how he'll react....

Re: Recommendations for deep meaningful movies
I like really deep movies that express lots of meaning in them. A lot of the movies I watch are spiritual, but don't necessarily need to be. Here are some of my favorite movies purely in alphabetical order Some? These are your ONLY ranked movies. maybe you should rank some more movies before you st...

Re: How Criticker fits into my personal movie recommendations...
Great work. Maybe you should create some kind of 'plug-in' site for criticker, which generates these kind of graphs, statistics, etc... for a criticker user. I don't know if there any other criticker-users interested, but I sure am. I don't know how 'portable' your code is, but it should be possible...

Re: How Criticker fits into my personal movie recommendations...
Your wish is my command... http://thequicky.net/pictures/rating_spread.png Ha, great! That's exactly what i mean. The curve is not too bad... Now I need to adjust my rankings so that the top of the curve goes more to the right (like a top in the 70's) and get more gradual flow from average movies t...

Re: How Criticker fits into my personal movie recommendations...
Sure, but I was just giving an extreme example of your case where you have 25% of your movies ranked as '70'. Using a bell-curve system will not split these movies into separate tiers, at least not when it's set up the way it is now. I totally agree, but that's 'bad' ranking from my site I still ne...

Re: How Criticker fits into my personal movie recommendations...
Yes, this would solve my missing Tiers problem. Not necessarily. Let's assume that user X rates every one of his movies as '70', then in a bell-curve tier system, Criticker would still not be able to make more than 1 tier, because it simply cannot decide which movies would belong to the upper tier ...
