Re: Criticker-like site for books?

Haha, to me it reminds me of the movie Precious which people seem to like just on virtue of it being "morally correct" to like it despite it being a pile of shit... only this book was even MORE insufferable than that movie was, and that's saying something. Doesn't surprise me that both wer...

Re: Howard the Duck (1986)

I think my score of the movie was biased because I legitimately like the Howard the Duck comics and I felt the movie was an insult to the character and the comic he came from. Gone are the racy humor, 4th wall breaking jokes and the utter bizarreness of the comics. Instead, we get Howard making a bu...

Re: Criticker-like site for books?

She is so intellectually defunct that simply hearing a differing opinion brings her to tears lol. Notice how people call her out for examples and she is noticeably absent, 5 years later. The unfortunate part is now I don't think I can read her books because anything I write about them will just be ...

Re: "Ant-Man"

Eh, I thought the shrinking gimmick was pretty cool and it had some pretty entertaining fight scenes. The final fight wasn't too bad, for example. That said though, on its own merits I thought the movie was meh. I think the reason why it's even popular is that it's riding on Marvel's movie craze rig...

Re: Spectre

Maybe he's preparing for Jane Bond I could be wrong, but I don't think transsexual reconstruction involves the hips. But hey, that could pump some needed life into the franchise. Double oh 69. m I said that off hand but it looks like it's actually a real thing. I like how all the choices to play Ja...

Here's what I was referring to earlier, but I don't think it was Disney's fault. The original script honestly doesn't sound that amazing to me either.

Re: Criticker: Now Accepting Television Series

Since you guys seem to accept stuff like the "Nostalgia Critic" and "Half in the Bag," shouldn't you add a web series tag for them? Calling them TV series is a bit silly.

Re: "Ant-Man"

Wasn't this movie suppose to have a completely different and less generic script than what was made? I heard Disney made them change it for some reason. In terms of its relation to the comics, it's weird. For some reason, they use Scott Lang instead of Hank Pym{the traditional Ant-Man} and generally...

Re: Criticker-like site for books?

Personally, I like to use goodreads for novels{though I haven't updated my account in ages}. For video games you could always use the Backloggery{no forum unfortunately}, Gamespot{the website has an AWFUL community though}, or myvideogamelist{I don't really have much experience with this website}. I...

Re: The Magic School Bus

All this proves is that your teachers and textbooks fucking failed you. Which is no surprise to anyone who is familiar with the horrid education system in the US and Canada. And that's no offense to either of those games; I LOVED Age of Empires myself, and it does help one think about military hist...
