Re: Tags removed?
The tag does have its uses. Simply searching for "Animation" + "Japan" lists several works that aren't anime. Those include many USA/Japan co-creations (fe. The Last Unicorn) and certain animation subgenres (fe. clay.) Not to mention that Korean animation (fe. Wonderful Days) is ...

There are more than enough music recommenders already, but it would be grand to finally get accurate recommendations for TV shows and games...

Re: Film Submissions - New Updates
Would it be possible to add few more fields to the film submissions? Specifically, the genres and the writer.
Many of the new submissions lack those, and it seems like a lot of work for everyone involved if those have to be added manually afterwards...

Re: TCI Regenerating
As always, let us know if you find something that's not working correctly! I noticed only one minor issue that might be related to this change: There are now 1001 entries on my top TCI list. I'm not completely certain, but I think that there were exactly thousand before. Furthermore, my #1000 TCI i...

Re: Organize the Recommendations better
I can see how it'd take loads of resources to automatically generate new PSIs for all users, but maybe simply allowing the active users to manually regenerate all of their PSIs (while keeping track of their highest PCIs) would solve the problem? Maybe something that is only usable once per few hours...

Re: TCI Regenerating
Hrm... I'm not sure if that automatic updating works at all. I've certainly been here for longer than two weeks, and as far as I've seen, my TCIs haven't been updated yet. At least, I haven't noticed any major changes. Ranking new movies doesn't seem to do anything to my TCIs, either. The only way t...

Re: Book Criticker
The best book recommender ever? Alexandria Digital Literature. Unfortunately, they started putting more weight on selling fiction than giving recommendations, and I suppose that it didn't work out too well since the site ended up being down more frequently than up - and pretty much everyone gave up ...

Re: Abuse link
Since he has only used two different scores, all except one of his ratings are tier 6. Would be different if they were tier 0, but six means that his "rating" is somewhat close no matter how you've rated those movies. He's #255 on my Best TCI-list, and is included in my top ten for quite a...

Re: The Disappearance of Critic Reviews
Unfortunate.
I have rather eccentric tastes in movies. My lowest TCIs were among the critics, and their predicted ratings always were far more accurate than those of the users...
Ah well, if there's nothing you can do about it, I guess I'll just have to cope with it.
