Why do some movies have years that are different than imdb

The movie Reprise, for example, is listed as 2008 on this site and 2006 on imdb. Are these just mistakes or is there some logic behind it?

Some cases IMDB is wrong.
Some cases Criticker is wrong.
Some cases, they were the same once, but was corrected on IMDB later.

Reprise was released in Norway in 2006, and in the United States in 2008. That's usually the logic.
