Starring Matt Damon, Jeff Bridges, and Josh Brolin. Produced by Spielberg.
This sounds...good.

Except that the story was nothing but an ego vehicle for Wayne--in a word, flat. It was sort of like Jimmy Carter winning the Nobel Peace Prize for doing what the prize awarders demanded that had nothing to do with peace. But on the other hand, the Coens' are doing it, so who knows.

Yeah I never saw True Grit, but the Coens are making a western with Jeff Bridges. Kind of speaks for itself, regardless of script.

The Coen's have yet to dissappoint me, and its always fun for me to see someone take a fresh look at westerns.

The Coen's making a Western sounds great. Will look forward to this.

Well, that does make it sound promising. And I'm a fan of the Coens too, except for their last one, A Serious Man--pretty flat, Hollywood average.

Well considering how they did with the transition of book to big screen in regards to "No Country" I'm perfectly fine with any book to movie transition they decide to do at the moment.
