"Two Daughters" (Teen Kanya) is definitely worth checking out. It's one of Ray's lesser-known films, but deserves more attention. In it's original form ("Three Daughters") there is actually an additional story, but for the international release, they wisely omitted the weakest tale.

I love "I Fidanzati" and "Il Posto" by Olmi. However, I've tried watching "Tree of Wooden Clogs" twice, and was bored silly each time. Someday I'll make it all the way through.

Cheers, FFD. I saw Devi (Goddess) last week, so I'm really excited about Two Daughters.

Tree of Wooden Clogs only gets a PSI of 70, for me. Generally, I'm of the attention that; if a film isn't very stimulating, it has to be seriously good for me to like it. So I haven't got my hopes up about this film, but I'll give it a chance.

Kanal is amazing, definitely check that one out if you haven't seen it.

I thought 3-Iron was a tad overrated, but it's not bad.
