9. Jeff Bridges 76.73, (11 films) NEW! (kinda)
10. Kevin Spacey 76.67, (12 films) -0.16 / -1 rank
So, my top ten actors (minus John Ratzenberger because of his close association with Pixar) are all pretty tightly clumped. Jeff Bridges, despite having a lower total score since the last time he appeared on my list, managed to work his way back onto the list, knocking off Michael Caine. Caine fell because I ranked Now You See Me (low) and I lowered my score for Get Carter by A LOT.
There are five actors sitting on 9 films waiting to jump on the list. Two, for sure, will make it, and one of those two will be embarrassing when he does, but I will wait to see how it all develops.
I ranked Ender's Game lower than Harrison Ford's average, so I'm not sure how he went up in points, but I must have made adjustments to something.

[spoiler]
OK, I'm gonna do 20 this time. I've marked new entries (new to hit the 10 film mark) with a *.
In other news, my list is being overrun by Italians (7 in the top 20 as compared with only 4 French and 4 Americans), and I finally managed to bump Diane Keaton down a bit by ranking one of her later romcoms which I've always avoided.
October 2015:
1. Alberto Sordi - 79.10 (10)*
2. Alain Delon - 76.91 (11)

1. Orlando Bloom 83.45 (11 films) NEW!

8. Kevin Spacey 77.08 (12 films) +0.41 score / +2 ranks
9. Tilda Swinton 76.9 (10 films) NEW!
10. Elijah Wood 76.87 (15 films) NEW!
So, the secret is out. Orlando Bloom is an embarrassing #1. However, my love for Tolkien should not be held against me. His appearance in the Hobbit films, which are a guilty pleasure of mine, bumped him to 10 films. And I really enjoy the Pirates franchise, as well. It's all very embarrassing on this site to admit these things, but what can you do?
I'm not sure how Ratzenberger dropped an entire film. Mind-boggling. I don't even know which one it was.
It's been a full year since I last updated this list, which seems crazy. I should do it more often. Lots of movement. My love for Marvel bumped up Portman. Elijah Wood comes out of nowhere, and I don't think the Hobbit has anything to do with it. I gave Eternal Sunshine a big bump in my ratings, so I imagine that's where he came from.
Tilda Swinton takes me by surprise. I didn't realize that she was in that much that I've seen. She's an actress I really recognize by name only. Wes Anderson has helped to propel her higher.
Bill Murray completely dropping off the list after being #2 on it last year is very surprising. Of course, I did start tanking the scores of Space Jam, Scrooged, and The Man Who Knew too Little.
Lockout probably dropped Guy Pierce off the list.
Expect Star Wars to help out Harrison Ford when it comes out. Michael Caine is still waiting in the wings, as well, only 0.11 points below Elijah Wood, who will tank if I ever see and rank Witchhunter, I'm sure.

Re: Top 10 highest-scoring actors (10 film minimum)
My top 10 is quite surprising to myself:
1. The Marx Brothers 8.60 (10)
2. Peter Lorre 8.40 (10)
3. Thomas Mitchell 8.30 (10)
4. Natalie Wood 8.30(10)
5. Anthony Quayle 8.25 (12)
6. Humphrey Bogart 8.22 (23)
7. Daryl Hannah 8.18 (11)
8. Mia Farrow 8.17 (18)
9. C. Aubrey Smith (Who???) 8.10 (10)
10. Marlene Dietrich 7.36 (11)
Conclusion: Actors with exactly ten or eleven films benefit. Actors with a lot of supporting roles in classics get an excellent score.
This is the result with a minimum of twenty films:
1. Humphrey Bogart 8.22 (23)
2. Scarlett Johansson 7.86 (28)
3. Ingrid Bergman 7.71 (21)
4. Cary Grant 7.36 (28)
5. James Stewart 7.29 (24)
6. Gene Hackman 7.19 (21)
7. Shirley MacLaine 7.00 (20)
8. Jack Lemmon 6.95 (21)
9. Sean Connery 6.89 (27)
10. Donald Sutherland 6.86 (22)
11. Fred Astaire 6.77 (22)
12. Al Pacino 6.75 (24)

Re: Top 10 highest-scoring actors (10 film minimum)
1. Ian McKellan..........85.80 - 10
2. Orlando Bloom.......79.30 - 10
3. Hugh Jackman........77.00 - 10
4. Keith David...........75.00 - 11
5. Mel Gibson............72.90 - 10
6. Christopher Lee......71.80 - 10
7. Seann William Scott.71.23 - 13
8. Sean Connery.........71.00 - 10
9. Morgan Freeman.....70.67 - 12
10. Scarlett Johansson.70.00 - 10
I would consider at least a few of these my favorite actors. Interesting to see the influence of Peter Jackson's epics have a large effect on this list. 1200ish films in, see where it is as I continue adding backlog catalog.
